A high quality, long lasting air filter with high quality Australian activated carbon (75% ctc.). The carbon fill is machine packed and compacted by a ring of expanding Acoustafoam compaction foam. The deep coal bed is enclosed in concentric mesh cylinders made from robust perforated Zintec sheet metal, with the end caps also made from Zintec for increased strength. A machine washable pre-filter sleeve is provided and secured at both ends with elastic silicone bands to prevent dust from clogging the filter. Despite its impressive air flow, this filter traps foul-smelling volatile substances.
