ScrOG – More yield through the Screen of Green method

The ScrOG (Screen of Green) method is a popular training technique in cannabis growing. It uses a net to guide the plants horizontally and achieve even light distribution. The result: more flowers on one level—with higher quality and better yields.

What does ScrOG mean?

ScrOG stands for "Screen of Green" – a grid or net is stretched over the plants to encourage new shoots to grow horizontally along the screen. This targeted training results in numerous evenly lit flower heads.

How ScrOG works – step by step

1. ✅ Place the net approx. 25–35 cm above the top of the pot
2. 🌱 Start guiding main shoots through the net as soon as they reach it
3. 🔁 When a shoot grows through, bend it back under the net and guide it sideways
4. 🕒 Repeat the process for 1–2 weeks until the area is filled
5. 💡 Then switch to the flowering phase (12/12 light cycle)
